As a Senior Elixir Engineer, you will build real-time, concurrent backends using the Elixir language and the Phoenix framework. You will leverage functional programming principles to design and maintain scalable systems that handle complex business logic and high-traffic workloads with ease.
What You'll Do
Design and develop robust backend services and APIs using Elixir, Phoenix, and Ecto.
Implement high-concurrency, real-time features using LiveView, GenServers, and OTP patterns.
Architect and optimize database schemas and complex queries within PostgreSQL environments.
Ensure system reliability and fault tolerance by utilizing Erlang/OTP supervision trees.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into clean, maintainable code.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to ensure high engineering standards across the development lifecycle.
What We Are Looking For
4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, specifically with Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
Proven expertise in building real-time, concurrent backends using OTP patterns and GenServers.
Deep understanding of functional programming principles and data modeling with Ecto and PostgreSQL.
Proficiency in developing modern interactive web applications using Phoenix LiveView.
Strong background in designing scalable and distributed systems with a focus on fault tolerance.
Advanced proficiency in English.
